NASA has selected Interlog Corporation to develop a multi-material additive manufacturing (AM) system for NASA’s Next Space Technologies for Exploration Partnerships (NextSTEP) program.

Interlog’s proposed technology provides a complete, remote, autonomous, in-space manufacturing (ISM) capability of multiple materials AM in microgravity environments on a single platform while satisfying all objective NASA target capabilities. Interlog’s technology is perfectly suited for various aerospace-grade metallic parts (alloys of aluminum, titanium, nickel, and other metallics), as well as bonding dissimilar materials (e.g., metals, glass epoxy, flexible ceramics) in in-space constraints.
